According to Haavik, the results of her scientific studies have shown that the chiropractic adjustment is changing the way the brain’s prefrontal cortex is processing proprioceptive information.
The research results show great promise for further studies, particularly on the potential of chiropractic on the management of concussions and other brain injuries, she said.
